1 month and 5 days since the end of A' levels.

status: still unemployed

mood: surprisingly happy to be unemployed...

december was fun! really really fun.
entering 2010, i thought i had played enough, i was ready for work. it seems not the case. i realised that there are still a lot of things for me to learn, there are still so many things that i have not tried before. and if i start working now and get tied down... i will be living life just like my school days with no little or no freedom or even worse. Imagine how tired you will be after a day of work( esp if it is very boring and draining), by the time you reach home, you won't even have the energy to do other things. maybe, all these are just my excuses for not going out to work.
whatever, but these few days of 2010 have been interesting and enlightening

Day 1: i realised how loud my dad's friend's daughter is. (metaphorically and literally, a lot louder than me! i'm not happy.hahax) that was how my 1st day of 2010

Day 2: i went
to my senior junior S68 class gathering. my class's turn up rate was surprisingly low... hm... quite funny n interesting at times...

Day 3: my first day doing direct sales.. I learnt how to navigate myself around
singapore's HDB flat as i do my door to door sales. that day, i finally realised the importance of the floor plan that was put up beside the lift.

Day 4: i discovered the importance of first impression. the first few words that sprout out from your mouth decides whether you will get your commission or not! and most importantly, my mental calculations... it is really important to be able to count, to count out loud at least... numerical numbers IS the international language. most customers just need to know how much they can save and therefore listen to you...

Day 5: i was sent back to
malaysia to work as a 'construction worker' for a day. tough job. i didn't carry a lot of heavy stuff, but i did carry some. even so, i think it was super tiring. one major lesson learnt, never just copy and paste the designs shown in the tiles show room. sometimes the way the tiles are arranged and their pattern can kill you! i did it to myself, i chose a super complicated design which looked simple initially. which is unfortunately not in reality. actually, the true ones who died are the workers! they are the ones doing, we, just see n talk. because the ones doing are ppl whom are linked to my family members, we also tried to help...T_T i kena complain... one of the uncle asked," who chose these tiles! zuo si ren ah!". he said in a joking manner la, but... he did mean it also... i'm so sorry...

these are the tiles. when i chose this set of tiles, the saleslady kept saying good good, the tiles in each series are different. just arrange the tiles randomly it will also look nice...ITS A LIE! the 'RANDOM' that you see below are 'PERMUTATIONS' of 4 different pattern. we spent the whole morning arranging a sample of the wall as an example. the ones doing sales just wants the sales, they are not the ones doing them!! (plus these tiles are more ex then the usual!=( i feel so stupid...but i still like the tiles! hahax)

uncle, cutting out the pattern for the wall =(

the messy tree that i like=DD

haha, and goodbye to the old, yet neglected bathtub.
the end to my day!=D
